The Werribee District Hospital Charitable Foundation was established to receive gifts and bequests under a trust fund structure intended to continue gifting into the long term.
The Foundation has received many generous donations. Our benefactors come from all walks of life and backgrounds but they each have one thing in common:-
A desire to support our community and its public hospital service in a lasting and meaningful way.
These generous donations are invested by the Foundation to maximise financial return.

Broadly speaking, the Foundation then uses the return on its investments to:

•  support one-off prioritised capital works projects
• fund the construction and renovation of hospital facilities
• purchase hospital equipment
• provide scholarships to clinical and non-clinical personnel

The end result is a much improved standard of facilities and care for patients in Wyndhams public hospital system.
