On Tuesday 8th of May Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard officially launched the Werribee District Hospital Charitable Foundation brochure and website. Along with Jan Goates, the chairman of WDHCF, a group of Werribee's leading business people and philanthropists  toured the hospital to see how the WDHCF has supported and continues to provide support for the Werribee Mercy Hospital.
